The Ridgewood Arts Foundation was founded by residents of the Village of Ridgewood, New Jersey, who saw the need for a foundation to provide funding for the many worthy artistic endeavors within and near the Village of Ridgewood and to encourage the further development of the arts within the community. We are a New Jersey non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service. As such RAF is a public charitable foundation.
We invite you to join us in this effort and to have fun while doing so, recognizing that art so enhances the quality of life and brings such pleasure to participants and spectators alike.
The Foundation makes modest gifts to worthy applicants. As we grow, our hope is that funding will advance to the point where gifts become more substantial, even to the point of assisting in the development of a facility in Ridgewood dedicated to artistic displays and performances.
Funding is provided through donations from individuals, grants from corporations and foundations, our membership program, and our fundraising activities, which are designed to promote the arts while encouraging donations to enable the Foundation to advance its work.
