LOCAL ART GEM TOURS

Since its inception, RAF has conducted art tours once a year. With our supporters, we have traveled into New York City for gallery tours in SoHo and visited some of the major museums including the Whitney and the Guggenheim. During COVID restricted times, RAF recognized the need to connect through art and quickly rebounded with online virtual art tours. These tours to Barcelona, Florence and Dublin received great acclaim from participants. As restrictions eased in the fall of 2021, we organized a wonderful gallery tour at the Passaic County Arts Center in Hawthorne NJ. This tour featured 3 professional artists, an art demonstration and exceptional artworks by Ridgewood High School ARTBeat students. During the most recent tour in November 2022, we visited the Montclair Art Museum and enjoyed a curated tour to their collection, including George Inness/Visionary Landscapes, and Transformed/Objects Reimagined by American Artists. We then had a creative hands-on art experience followed by a wine and cheese reception. Fun was had by all!

Barrymore Film Center - RAF Local Art Gem Tour

Montclair Art Museum Art Gem Tour, Novemeber 2022

During RAF’s most recent Art Gem Tour in November 2022, we visited the Montclair Art Museum and enjoyed a curated tour to their collection, including George Inness/Visionary Landscapes, and Transformed/Objects Reimagined by American Artists. We then had a creative hands-on art experience followed by a wine and cheese reception. Fun was had by all!
